Join us for a comprehensive hunter education course combining classroom learning and hands-on experience. This course is designed to help you learn how to hunt safely and responsibly. If completed and passed you will qualify to be able to purchase a hunting license.
The course is ideal for beginners, new hunters, and anyone seeking to refresh or expand their knowledge of safe and responsible hunting practices. Participants under the age of 16 or those who cannot transport themselves, must have an adult or legal guardian with them for the class duration. To legally hunt in Rhode Island, you must be at least 12 years old.
- Please arrive 15 minutes early
- Please come prepared with a writing instrument and notetaking materials.
- Please bring your own snacks/lunch/drinks (non-alcoholic)
